Sea trip to the island of Suluada... #TheLongestTrip

It would have been the most wonderful sea trip of our lives, if not for seasickness...
Once, back in Egypt, Victoria @bugavi and I went on a yacht and we were very sick. Therefore, this time, when we were offered an excursion to the island of Suluada (Kumluca/Анталія), we were afraid that our well-being would not be good.
But our birthday girl Darinka @darine.darine dreamed of visiting this island, which is also called the Turkish Maldives. And we bought a tour.

The difficult moment for us was that the excursion started at 8 o'clock in the morning.
After all, we go to bed at 4 o'clock and get up after 12... Are you too, dear friends 😊🤪 ?
We bought capsules against motion sickness in advance at the pharmacy, ate this pill half an hour before the trip. And in anticipation of wonderful experiences, they got on the bus. Half an hour later, we were brought to a beautiful bay where yachts were parked.

I immediately liked looking at the beautiful mountains around and at the waves in the turquoise sea, which were actively running away from our yacht. It filled me with fresh sea wind and joy. Soon in the distance we saw the rocky island of Suluada.

The rocks had a bright orange hue. Yachts were parked around. This picture was very beautiful. Our Darinka enjoyed our sea walk. Ahead of us were three stops on the shores of the island, swimming. And we were also promised a photo session in the gorge of love... Here we are approaching the shore. But here Victoria and I began to notice the first signs of nausea. This became especially evident when the yacht was parked near the shore and was being rocked in different directions.

Therefore, we were glad that we would finally rest on the shore and maybe the nausea would pass. The captain professionally backed up our yacht to shore. This skill was worthy of applause!

The water in the sea was surprisingly transparent and beautiful, light turquoise color. The sand is white and hot. It really feels like the Maldives. But it was very hot on the shore. This is another point I don't like. I like to swim in the sea when the sun is going down. For example, at 5 - 6 p.m. The large number of yachts and people also did not contribute to my satisfaction. I like to be alone with nature, which is unrealistic in famous tourist places in the middle of the tourist season in Turkey.

The cost of an excursion around the island of Suluada, with three stops on beautiful shores with snow-white sand, each of which lasted 30-40 minutes, is $25 per person. Lunch, tea, fruit included.

Our stop and swim lasted 40 minutes. And we went to the next shore, continuing our excursion around the island of Suluada. These orange rocks against the background of the blue sky and the beautiful sea were truly amazing with their beauty...

Darinka enjoyed our sea trip... She got a really nice gift for her birthday! But Victoria and I did not enjoy it 😭Our seasickness progressed despite the fact that we took a double dose of motion sickness capsules, which for some reason proved ineffective.

Then it was time for lunch and they brought us a wonderful meal: fish, pasta and salad. And for dessert - watermelon.
After starting to eat, I suddenly felt the deterioration of my condition. The yacht stood in one place and wildly rocked on the waves. I only ate fish. But my Victoria ate all the pasta she loves so much 😆🤪 Now I remember this whole adventure with a smile. But then we were not laughing. I breathed deeply, trying to stop the nausea that was getting worse. Victoria flushed all her food down the toilet. And this was repeated several times 🫣😮

How strange and different can be the circumstances that affect people's happiness! A beautiful sea excursion continued among fascinating rocks. But we looked at it all through the prism of our problem. And in the process of my terrible health, I filmed a video of these beautiful landscapes. Finally, our yacht arrived at Love Gorge.

Here there were several yachts swaying on the waves, waiting for their turn to approach the gorge to take a photo as a memory of visiting this place!
We didn't go out on this blue bridge to feel like heroic sailors and take a photo by heart. Victoria and I decided that yacht tours are not suitable for us))) But if you can tolerate sea trips, then this place is really worth your attention!

What a pity that you experienced seasickness, it seems like a worthy trip normally. I long for Turkey when I see this type of boat. I've been to Turkey 11 times and I absolutely loved it every single time. These boat trips are always memorable, but yes, I've experienced some seasickness too in the past. It's very sad that a day can be ruined by it.

Lovely to see the clear water and white beach! I wish we had a white sandy beach here too, but here the beach is grey and nothing like it, lol.

Thanks for sharing!

Despite all our problems, a good memory of this beautiful island remained in my heart.

That's the most important thing! Thank you for bringing me back to Turkey, even if it was just for a little bit in my memory!

You must be killin' it out here!
@thisismylife just slapped you with 1.000 PIMP, @olga.maslievich.

Read about some PIMP Shit or Look for the PIMP District

such a beautiful place to visit but not so much with seasickness sorry the pills did not help

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)

Unfortunately, I cannot enjoy sea walks. Therefore, I have no chance to get into wild lonely bays. Except to buy your own yacht and be behind the wheel :)

I think the yatch tour you took is Adrasan tour. I haven't been there, I love the rock-cut natural shapes where the water passes by.

Thanks for sharing it with us!

It was a wonderful tour. But unfortunately I can't enjoy the yacht rides :(

I don't like it much as well. I have experinced bad moments last time. You can read;
