So, I stopped at Colossians 3:6-7 in the last episode and we will be looking at verse 8 in this episode.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.- Colossians 3:8

If you have goe through the Bible chapter from verse 1, you will get to know that there are some things which we need not do as a child of God and not only those but we should be careful of what we call small sins which can hinder us from reigning with Christ.
Just like how I explained each listed things that we should not do, I will also be explaining each listing things in this verse as well.

Anger, Wrath and Malice,

We all know what anger is but not everyone one knows what anger can cause. This is one of the weapon of satan to collect blessings from Christians; we must be careful not to be angry at all times. Not that we should not be angry but we should not sin while being angry, the anger should be limited else it will cause word/physical damage(s).

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Neither give place to the devil. - Ephesians 4:26-27

You will notice that I titled 3 points and the reason is that they are intertwined. Anger can lead to wrath and malice, wrath can lead to malice. Wrath is when you want to 'fight to finish'. With wrath, anything can be destroyed, such a person doesn't listen to anything at that moment until something bad happened. With anger, words are manipulated but can be easily controlled than wrath. Malice is an act of unforgiveness; When you want to remember everything the person did and not ready to forgive.

We should be very careful of these instruments of satan as they are some of the things that satan is using in this end time.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. - Proverbs 15:1

Rather, have patient which will help you to listen more than speaking. Learn to overlook mistakes, control your anger, and forgive easily which will help to do away from anger and its likes.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. - James 1:19-20

If we want to keep our righteousness then we must do away with these things. With the Word of God and prayer, those that are bound in anger, malice, and wrath can free themselves and enjoy the peace of God all around them.

Till next episode.
Stay blessed.
Shalom!
