The reason these kids are "suddenly" getting it is, they're tired of their devices! After Sandy Hook people in the USA decided that slaughtering 6 year olds was an acceptable alternative to looking up from their new, shiny phone.
But now the kids who's baby pictures are on an iPhone that their parents sat in line for for two days are here. They can download your killer (and get round your nanny security) app in two seconds.
This is not new stuff to them. So when something weird happens, like, some idiot comes in
and starts shooting their friends. They don't just revert to their phones, they're furious, and
they should be! Go to the streets! March on Washington! Walk out of school! I'd say DO IT, but
they're already doing it, walking out all over the country!
Now there'll be a bunch of "adults" who do not want this to happen -- it's a loss of control! Their greatest fear! They shot Malala Yousafzai in the face, and she didn't stop. Take the world away from us, we fucked it up!
Anyway, I applaud the first generation to look UP from your devices! You have much to teach us!
