Lately I've been seeing a lot of "no more of this and that 2018" post - a list of things one hopes to never commit again, not quite like the usual new year's resolution. It was encouraging and left an idealistic impression for the year. The promises were too good, it made sense that more and more people make one for themselves.
But something's off!
I've look through one too many times already and most of them were all aiming a similar twisted thought. Everybody seems to want to avoid 'mistakes' from turning up into their lives and are all somewhat trying to mold a facade of perfection, as what I've said it was too good that it's unrealistic and BORING haha. They've also misconceptualize living without regrets as living without mistakes! Forgetting that its all about accepting.
Let's not pressure ourselves with so much expectations. Let's not limit what life has to offer.
There's nothing really wrong with wanting to leave things behind but disremembering and not acknowledging them hinders our opportunity to grow even better. Afterall, those mistakes, tough times, tears, disappointments and such were the reasons why we're still burning!
This year lets face the odds with all that we've got! Lets walk through it with a stronger heart and mind! Lets enjoy the unexpected rides and be adventurous!
Let's not be afraid of the future

Hi Earth Angel! Have an awesome 2018! I to never set any expectations to not be disappointed but still plant and usually , with hard work my plans are exeded... But i agree... no this no that is just focusing on negatives... No has no visual perspective in the mind so people end up focusing on the wrong things... No War or Peace have different vibrations in the Bdy, Mind, Soul/Emotions... Thanks for the ideas and making me think... Following and looking forward to see more from you.

That is bang on! I believe even what seems as cruel in the world and we cant find a justification, say a young girl being run over by a bus... has purpose , maybe past life debt... maybe the girl grows up into a serial killer... who knows! But positivity like you said is key! After all we are just here to feel and observe...
