Reflections on the Red

Hello Everyone! So I had just had the time to walk through the red arrow track. Since I got back from the holiday, this walk had been nagging at the back of my mind.

What stopped me from going was that, this is a very challenging walk for me. It is only a short circuit but I had always been mentally challenged doing this.

Today was no different. I was bracing myself from feeling like the world is about to end by the time I get nearly at the top of the track. Or, perhaps the feeling that anytime now, I am about to faint.

Surprisingly, I did not feel as tired as I used to. In fact, there was this inner peace that I felt. I did not feel this for a very long time and I believe that it must have been brought about by continuously been working for more than 4 years non stop.

Before my holiday back in my country, I thought that going on a holiday is just a waste of time and money. I found out that holidays are basically there to reset me on all the challenges.

What I unexpectedly learned from this walk is that, a lot of things had happened in the past few weeks. My soul is in repair, it is healing, it is moving forward. I am at peace, I am happy, and this can be seen at work, in my walks, in my mental state.

I was not even aware that there was such a thing as that- as I am used to feeling anxious, stressed, overly tired and sometimes, the need to do everything as fast as I could.

As you are all enjoying the beauty of my home, I just wanna say this: nature has its own special way of healing souls.
