RE: #ThoughtfulDailyPost meet #Innerblocks!

@zekepickleman,

I think there are some people more inclined towards inner peace than others.

Recently, I'd been reading how some were meditating their way to serenity. As I was feeling disstressed about certain individuals' opinions about how best to not-organize the blockchain, I decided to give it a go.

Eyes closed. Deep breathes. Clear the mind.

More deep breathes.

Despite my best efforts at mindlessness, a vague image kept appearing. So, instead of trying to block it, I decided to let it form.

Slowly, it began to take shape. At first, it was not apparent what I was looking at. But, as the details trickled in, it became a recognizable object:

A guillotine.

This did not strike me as being particularly serene so I figured I'd failed the task. But, surprisingly, as I started to imagine certain individuals taking their rightful places on the bench ... I did actually feel "much better."

Does that count?

Guillotines can signify an end and a beginning. Chopping the heads off the problems is a way of solving them. We can’t change people initially but we can chop them out of our heads.
