I suppose wisdom and virtue are not always synonymous. But, I will not be a cynic and seek out the wise who are also the righteous and not let the manipulative truth twisters get me down.

I like your reply, and someone said that the mind is a garden. It all depends on what one plants in it, is it life giving plants, or choking weeds. Righteousness is also rare to find these days, and knowledge masquerades as wisdom.
Such is life.
