I'll settle for not being totally stupid. Just because there is a fork in the road you don't need to take the left or right fork, there are other options, sometimes we just need to shine a light on them, or move util we bump into a wall.

Sort:  

There are a lot of false dichotomies in life, on and off, left and right, up and down. (It is part of the polarization conversation where people do not recognize they aren't living on a single plane - there are more directions to take.

I've always been one to not accept limits, especially when they are imposed. There is nothing wrong with taking the road, trail, path, less traveled, and there really is nothing wrong with breaking your own trail. There is room for all, unfortunately not all think there is room enough, they get to bogged down on what they perceive as limits, then fail to see alternative choices.
