I really like the monetary system on Steem. No debt. Delegations enable anyone to lend capital without risking the principal at all - nothing but an opportunity cost is incurred in case the delegatee fails to live up to their promises. Influence tokens are used to direct liquid token inflation. Nobody ever owes anyone anything. No need for the specialists in violence of any kind to threaten anyone with punishment if they fail to deliver on their promises. This system is a breath of fresh air.
