Somebody recently said that the internet had spoilt him and his attention span has gotten small. I had to agree. What we were talking about was watching videos. I never used to balk at the idea of an hour long one, but now I do. I thought it was because I've just gotten too busy of late to be able to afford that time, but he could very well be correct. We're used to getting information in short form now.
I can't imagine struggling to have something to write about, but then I don't often have time to write anyway, so I've yet to put it to the test really. I used to envy hubby having plenty of time to write, but he never did and would say he didn't know what to write about. I could throw lots of ideas at him, but in all honesty I think he prefers to play Minecraft and Agario. I even suggested he make it useful and record it for dTube!
My eldest is in England, being taken to all different places and had still only written once in nearly three months! She didn't write much then either. More interesting things to do I guess. When it comes to my lot, saying they don't know what to write about is just an excuse not to have to write! 😆
I agree. Fast, shallow information that gets a message across but not with enough depth of understanding to act upon it.
Absolutely, why not ?
I think many suffer this excuse. For me, I see it as a way to hit many birds with one stone as it allows me space to think and develop, sort out issues, offer knowledge and earn a little along the way too.
