The world has changed, believe it or not.

It seems a common view that when the lock down ends, everything will gradually return to how things were before covid-19. To begin with a recession sparked by the virus is upon us but it was so overdue that anything could have eventually triggered it. We have crawled on from the last recession without changing anything, it seems like we just keep borrowing and printing more money, this surely isn't possible forever.

A lot of jobs have already been lost and many companies that used to hire them will likely go bust due to lacks of funds/debts. Other issues I see happening, is there being a mental health crisis for many of the front line workers and people either being isolated alone or with mental health issues already. The wealthy have been hit hard and will try there best to get out of it but everyone's wealth will not be back to the highs of early this year again probably for another decade probably..

I believe this is the decade that bitcoin takes its place as the number one safe haven, by 2028 there would have been 3 halvings including this incoming one in may, bringing the reward down to just 1.56btc per block from 12.5 now.

Hopefully the world as a whole will take a more serious approach now on potential threats rather than waiting for them to happen because damage and lives lost could be reduced. Everyone spoke of the what ifs of a pandemic but just carried on like it probably wouldn't happen. This attitude goes the same for meteors hitting earth, the sun letting off dangerous bursts that we just missed from being hit by a few years back etc.

I find it scary how many people still believe conspiracies and fighting against science and praying to whatever god they think exists rather than help the greater cause of supporting those trying to help all of us. Maybe we will just carry on as normal but we will probably go extinct, us humans seem to only change if we are forced too and this is one of those pivotal moments in history.

This wasn't meant to turn into rant lol. Anyway thanks for reading,
