I think that is the right step taken by Trump after Turkey is willing to make a truce. And America's move to leave "bloody sand" in Syria is also very appropriate to attract the sympathy of the American public in the 2020 general election.

I too think this is a good move which could bring out good outcomes as the rudeness Turkey's president showed is really harsh and deserves such decisions. But still, people are not happy with Trump as the troops have just being relocated but not coming back home.
