Time Management

in #time6 years ago

First, I will like to say that Time Management might be a wrong term because time itself cannot be managed, manipulated or harnessed. What is he getting at?, you may ask. That will be a good question to ask. Please read along. I have studied that Self Management is a more appropriate term to use because you are the only person that you can directly modify and manipulate.

When you understand your strengths and weaknesses and you consciously make moves to covert your weaknesses to strengths or avoid situations that help you display your weakness. For example, if you like to talk and have noticed that talking wastes your time in the office place, you can decide to avoid your gist partners until your scheduled work is done. You can also decide to hide in a solitary place in the office until work is done.

Another factor when it comes to self management is scheduling tasks according to their importance. This will be written about in the next post. We shall also consider Important tasks versus Urgent tasks later on.

I hope you enjoyed this topic. If there are topics you would like me to write on feel free to drop it in the comment section.
