[Be A Happier Steemer] What YOU Should Post On Steemit

in #tips8 years ago

Hello once again, fellow Steemers!

Here comes a suggestion coming from a fellow not-so-great Steemer (for now, I hope). I know it might seem weird for a nobody such as myself to give you a suggestion on what you should be posting, but hear me out. I've gained like 50 cents on this website so far.. and i'm not frustrated :)

All "jokes" aside...

You came here for a quick money, but where is it at?

Well it's right here! Nope, fooled ya. It'll take a while budy. It might also not happen, bear with me...

There's a high chance you came here to just earn a quick buck, and that's reasonable, but please put that behind. Behind every great Steemer, lies a person. And as for you, well that person is you (unless you're possessed, which is fine by us. You're welcomed in Steemit!). You shouldn't just post random posts on Steem just because you feel like it could get you reputation, because doing so will make you extremely disappointed that you spent a long time typing something up and didn't receive the attention you wanted from it, meaning that you wasted your precious time. You should use Steemit for posting what you're passionate about, whether it be helping people or cooking, because if you do so, then typing out whatever it is you're writing about won't seem like such a huge hassle. Although you might not rack up as much money as other people here, at least you'll have fun doing whatever it is you're doing. After all this is a social media website, be yourself and post what you yourself like.

"Okay, maybe you're right. But I'd still like upvotes to see if people like my content."

Lately, Steemit has been growing at a fast pace, therefore if Steemit is to keep growing as fast as it is now, newer members might see your content and notice what your posts are, like your type of posts, and gain you readers and upvotes. There are a diverse amount of members in Steemit so there are sure to be a few people to like your posts and want to follow along if you post more similar content showing your enthusiasm and passion for it. So to sum it up: you should start using this as your blog, and put the thought about money aside, because doing so will make you more happy if/when you see people upvoting your content.

BEING ORIGINAL IS A MAJOR PLUS

Examples of recently good posts about people

What makes those posts strive from many others isn't that they were just lucky that moment, it's that they're either relatable to people, entertaining, or they provided something interesting for the reader. That being said, i'm not saying that you should just post something like them and hope for the best, I'm saying that they posted something out of passion and/or entertainment leading to their popularity. When it comes to Steemit, people love it when you actually contribute something here because a lot of people such as myself are browsing and trying to find something interesting that doesn't feel "forced" or anything. Although if you do something interesting or something that could spark up a conversation has occurred, that would also be a nice for many.

So remember, if you want to have fun while on Steemit. Don't only focus on the money part, but on the social aspect as well. Contribute, and share what you love.
