ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW USERS
I barely noticed through another user that the post can’t be deleted on steemit and wanted to share it with those of you who do not know; This feature makes it a little different to steemit from other social networks, Only have a little care for example to moderate vocabulary or things like that.
Of the same way feel free to give more tips to new users on here and/or Spread the word.

All posts are stored in a blockchain. They cannot be edited or deleted.
What you can do is post a newer version. The steemit website will only publish the latest version of your post. That doesn't mean older versions are gone.
Same for deleting. A deleted post may no longer be visible on the steemit website. But it's still there, on the steem blockchain.
