feeling a bit tired today
did some more work and testing on the scrobble project
it went well
had a bit of a scare at first that something important got broken but it was just cause I was using vpn so things got back to normal
next phase is to set up a Google Web store account so I can have the extension on there in a more official capacity
then figure out a way for people to easily test it without needing a hive account
need to also figure out a way for people to edit scrobbles that may get saved with the wrong link or isrc without it becoming an attack vector
probably should start working on the socials too, x, subreddit, youtube, tiktok, hive account/community, discord, etc
anyway was gonna start working on some of the other projects I have halfway done but feeling a bit tired today
bit bummed out about the price of hive as well and how expensive everything's gotten compared, had to take some loans from some other projects of mine just to pay off some outsourcing work for holozing, even had to park some of my own liquids there just to make it work
feels bad having that project be back in the red, even the full powerdowns are barely covering anything
at the same time it feels now like everyone can create projects but there's barely any people to use them
dunno, weird times, don't think it's affecting hive only either
maybe the beginning of the end is starting with AI

I don't know anything about your scrobble project, what it is going to do. Seeing a few posts for the past two weeks (I think), thought to go through the initial post but still haven't done so. Could you guide me to the post, I should start from?
I agree with you, new projects are being developed on Hive and barely enough people are there to use them that's the current scenario but, I am sure, this won't be the case for too long - I am a half glass full person, so even the current situation give me hope that Hive is alive and people, like you, are continuously contributing to its growth, nonetheless. This will make Hive stand out among its peers in the future.
It is also adimirable how you keep your work continue under these, financial and/or otherwise, conditions.
I'm going to announce it fully tomorrow if you'd rather read up on all the functions then than read up on old pre-announcements!

Everything being super expensive, and folks having a ton of ideas they're putting out but fewer folks using them, is definitely something I've been seeing a lot of too. There's a ton of folks churning out some great stuff, but it's like everyone is just... tapped out. I don't know what to make of it. Could be the global economy/instability is playing a part of that - it's hard to get excited for cool new things to buy into when the regular grocery trip that would cost me $250 two years ago for a 2-3 week period is reaching 450-550 for the exact same stuff. It's rough out there, and crypto is also feeling that pinch.
Rest is important! If you don't rest when you need it, your body will force it on you!
I do think AI generated content(be it visual or written) is not helping small or even medium sized creators at all.
That's a true point, less and less people around to use and try stuff, but it's a general thing I suppose, not only hive... Btc is doing fairly decently but we can't follow it it seems
Why dont we work on a single super app? What integrates in app comes after voting of the proposal? best interface, swaps, games ecosystem, etc.

Tht's just how markets work and with the current chaos around, the markets are getting the brunt. Anyway hope it changes soon everyone knows everyone cannot keep fighting. Here at hive these ideas of a common social/economic layer keep evolving this is the infra of the future...
