Today is 01.10.2021 and the price of BTC is nearly 48k. That's almost the same price that we've seen in the last update.
Portfolio update
As the BTC price is really close to the price from last update, portfolio value remained nearly unchanged.
As you can see, my USDT position increased drastically, as I decided to de-risk and realise another portion of my profits. The one thing that saved my ass was selling down on HT position before another China crypto restrictions.
In last update I wrote:
This turned out to be an absolute luck, as I did this literally 2-3 weeks before the news. After the news (on -21% daily candle) I sold the remaining 500 HT and as for now, I do not hold any. I held some significant amounts of FTT for a while, but I decided to sell them before a major pullback.
I'm really happy with overall profits from this token, and I may re-enter in the future.
Margin positions closed
I did close all my remaining margin positions on around 6k+ profits. That was a great ride, especially on EOS. Below is graphic trades distribution on that EOS long.
Right now, I'm likely to stick with that USDT position and see what happens next.

Yeah, taxes.
That said, I'm likely to make a wallet re-org later this year. What I'm going to do is sell all my holding at the end of the year and buy back on 1st of January, excluding funds that I will put aside for tax, which is 19%.
I'm still thinking about if I want to do this at all, as it will kinda screw up this whole journey, as well as lower my future profits. Unfortunately, my tax matters and (especially) potential tax inspection seems much more difficult to do with every year of trading, and that's why I want to do this asap.
