I can answer some of those for you zonguin just being a normal user myself since yesterday.
I believe the airdrop is to about 16,000 accounts which are active accounts, duplicate accounts and those who are blacklisted or have not been active recently wont get the airdrop.
I would imagine PALcoin would be its own value and not follow steem
If you are staking one of the mining tokens then payouts happen at random depending on how much you have. At the moment I have 35 PALMM and it has been paying me a few every hour.
