Hi, sorry we haven't replied this is, another feature we need is to notify the admin when people post on their forums :)
Currently the only way is to hide the category:
Groups that don't have categories will be hidden by default, you can also rename groups to something else.
Bear in mind you can't rename category slugs, but you can rename the category title.
