If you will have the opportunity to visit Switzerland with your children or are living there also I'd love to recommend for you to visit the animal park (Tierpark) in Goldau.
Just have been there a few days ago with our three children who are now 1, 5, and almost 8 years old. They have enjoyed touching the goats, deers, capricorns, aries, to walk around to seeing owls, martens, bears, and mice.

Our daughter fell in love feeding the baby deers with the food you can buy from a machine for 3 CHF per box. The exchange rate for 1 CHF is pretty much 1 to 1 with the US $ at the moment. We had to buy 4 boxes for the whole day. 😂😂
There are diggers as well, which is always great for kids to play with ..you need to have some 1 CHF coins for that with you.
There is also a restaurant on the top where you can eat some sausages, hot dogs, ice cream, and the like. Also there is a fire place to make a barbecue together with your family outdoors with tables & chairs.
The entrance ticket for one day is reasonable just CHF 10 for kids older than 6, and CHF 20 for adults. Babies and toddlers get in for FREE!
