Yani Osmanlı için fazla değeri olmayan bir kale diyebiliriz.
Kale 1878 yılında Ayastefanos Antlaşmasıyla Gürcistan'a bırakılmıştır.
Kalede birçok devlete ait paralar ve eserler bulunmaktadır her kültürden birşeyler bulunuyor.
