Two opposition media groups (Oda TV and Yeniçağ) are at the target of authoritarian AKP regime. Soner Yalçın, Barış Terkoğlu, Barış Pehlivan who are jpurnalists working in Oda TV and Murat Ağırel from Yeniçağ were imprisoned, and the web site of Oda TV was banned. Vice Chairman of Main Opposition Party CHP Muharrem Erkek visited the journalists in Silivri Prison and declared his and his party's support for the imprisoned journalists. He also condemmed the government of using judiciary as a weapon and told that if they destroy the freedom of press, they also destroy the freedom of the society. The principle of Judicial independence is an important problem of the new Constitutional system.
