wow wow wow what a great post !!
Ever since I read the title I asked myself - what will have been written here.
Thank you for everything you wrote. It is not a guide or tutorial but it is a gentle warning.

One of the problems with being a retail futures trader is also one of the greatest allures of being one - basically, you are not accountable to anyone.

I put this quote because it seems essential in your publication. "Futures retail operator" how difficult it is to understand this and how true it is when you understand it.

I also liked it a lot:

Trading is human psychology and for a successful trader ultimately understanding what is going on and taking action on it but more importantly be willing to accept you may be wrong and cut your losses is one of the biggest mental hurdles which separates the successful traders from the ones that keep failing and ultimately give up.

I think that the whole history of humanity supports this thought of yours.
Honestly, very good post. A cordial greeting @goblinknackers

hi @marcybetancourt, thanks for your comments and your support, these are sum totals of over 20 years involved with these markets, ... now when i look back i can see how so many starters are disillusioned. my very first trade i did a good one an based on that i thought id discovered the holy grail, .. little did i know that 20 years later i will still be learning about trading and also myself... you never stop learning in this game.
