In Aceh we have very old tradition and still we are doing until now, we call that 'Meugang'. Meugang is very special day for me as acehnese people in whole family and also Acehnese iy self.
This tradition belonh to our culture as old as Acehnese KingDom, Surely Aceh Darussalam Kindom, since 16 Century or mightbe oldest than that since Samudra Pasai Kindom in the North of Aceh, now we known only as one of Sub District In Aceh Utara Distrik, unbelieveable, but its thrue.
That time Meugang is moment for the Sultan to serve his people as signal as welfare Kingdom.
Now Meugang it self is very special moment and can not be replace with others kind of activity event the prise is to hight for Dhuafa.
