Finding a good team or a founder is like finding a partner. He/she should be a person with whom you can hang out.
If this is the case, then you have something. If you can't meet the person then the next best thing is to check whether you are enjoying the time and conversation on the coin's telegram group or not.
Are you enjoying your time on the telegram group of the coin?
Are you having some fun discussing the topics others are talking about?
The probability of this happening becomes very high when you are already familiar with the industry the coin is working in.

Media Shy CEOs
What Jim Collins's research says,
"CEO's who are shy to media are the ones who are actually good CEO's".
I do agree that this type of shy CEO breed is the one you should look for. I have seen one CEO like that in the crypto market. Enjin coin's CEO. They just want to get the job done, nothing else. Maybe that is the reason why they are not interested in media attention. Of course, another one is Satoshi. Hahahaha.
Buffett once said that you should only invest in a business an idiot could run because one day an idiot will. So, basically what he means is that you should think about investing in a coin that is self-evolving like bitcoin where things just take care of itself. Now that it is hard to do so, the next best thing is to find a coin where you feel that there will not be a great need for change in the design of the product. Maybe some small UI changes with time and marketing if needed.
Ask these question to rate the management of a coin:
Does the CEO have integrity?
- How candid is the CEO's talk to investors?
- Does management talk freely to investors when things are going well but clam up or disclaim responsibility when trouble occurs?
- How happy are its employees?
- Is the management team buying or selling its company's coin?
