Self Forgiveness

Holding a grudge doesn't make you strong;
It makes you bitter.
Forgiving doesn't make you weak;
It sets you free.
~Dave Willis

Forgiveness can be hard, but wouldn't you rather be set free then tied up in the resentment which stays with you when you hold on to things? Who do you need forgive today? It could even be yourself. ❤️

So first and foremost, forgive yourself.

Make a habit of doing so, this is what allows you to fully forgive others - truly forgiving yourself with ease from a state of genuine complete understanding rather than self preservation and the situation is now free to tether out naturally, quickly restoring stasis.

Always getting there eventually, stasis and wellbeing, it's law.

Reflect for a moment, on your life, on something you're still beating yourself up about. Were you simply doing the best you could in that moment? Can you now see that you'd do it better if it was today instead of back then? Forgive yourself, move on, and remember that you're a work in progress.

Let go of old guilt, and remember that you are perfect child of God/Source. God/Source himself is with you guiding you, protecting you and showing you the correct path ~ all you need is to follow the divine guidance and you will attain and reach your goals.

Why Self-forgiveness is important?

You benefit immensely when you choose to forgive yourself for past mistakes and you forgive others. Everyone around you benefits. Whether you need to forgive others, or need to forgive yourself, doing so sets you free from the past and enables you to fulfill your true potential. Forgiveness allows you to break free from limiting beliefs and attitudes. It frees up your mental and emotional energies so that you can apply them to creating a better life.

"To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you."
~Lewis B. Smedes
