Malang is rich in tourism potential. Not only coastal tourist destinations, and history, Malang also has a waterfall tour that is not so exotic.
One of them is waterfall Sumber Pitu Pojon, Malang Regency, East Java. The beauty of this waterfall is so amazing. Coban Name Sumber Pitu (seven) there are two in Malang area that one is in Tumpang area and the other one is in Pujon area.
To go to the location, Kalo you know the distance between the two about 2 hours drive using a private vehicle from downtown Malang. The location of Coban Sumber Pitu is hidden amongst the dense forest, making travelers need to strive to achieve it.
If not familiar with the activities of nature lovers and trekking course this trip will feel heavy. The traveler has to pass the dirt road through the pine forest, the jungle, the hills, to the grassland where there is a deep chasm there.
But with all the naturalness that this place has to offer, including its access road, this is certainly the main attraction.
Although named Coban Sumber Pitu in fact there are 14 waterfalls here. It's just 9 of them adjacent location that by the surrounding community is still called Coban Sumber Pitu.
Not far from the area of Plot 100, the name of the local community for the area, there are also four waterfall dots adjacent to Sumber Pitu. While under Coban Sumber Pitu there is another waterfall known as Coban Tunggal.
The flow of Coban Pitu and Coban Tunggal waterfalls leads to the same river called the third point waterfall. The best location to get a picture of Coban Sumber Pitu, is a tree trunk that has been decades old and uprooted with its roots raised upward.
To be able to get the perfect picture travelers should use a tripod because of the lack of light there. The calmness and beauty that Coban Pitu offers is able to eliminate the fatigue caused by iteration to get there.
