Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vancouver, British Columbia , Canada.
The bridge stretches 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. There are over 10 bridges that connected with each other in the same park and if you want to finish all of them it takes 2-3 hours depending on your walking speed.
Originally the bridge was the only attraction, but over the years, since 1889 the area has been developed to include a number of other features for visitors to enjoy within the 11 hectare (27 acre) park.
Know before you go, during the festive period (November to January), Capilano Suspension Bridge sees an increase in footfall, visitors are drawn in by the hundreds of lights which are draped over the bridge and the surrounded treetops.
So if you are planning to visit this bridge choose this time period.
