I have considered dying my hair dark but I always decide against it- usually I end up telling myself that's a bit drastic, not that I'm scared of dying my hair but strictly for travel purposes I don't think it makes that big of a difference. I'm not going to act ignorant, I'm sure that my hair and skin color have helped me more than hindered, by how much I'm not sure. I am confident and I'm sure to be as respectful as possible and I think that's the best way to ensure that you're shown respect back.
