We came with @etka to New Zealand with the work and travel visa for a year. In August 2017 we arrived at Auckland, bought a car and started our unforgettable and life changing road trip.
The minute you go out the plane and meet the Kiwis and their land, you fall in love. Walking around the country you just see smiles and lovely people always willing to help. There is a big environmental consciousness and you can feel the love for Nature. This is a country with healing energies, where you just feel safe wherever you go.
Our Visa is coming to an end this month, and i wanted to show you this magical country, before we keep on moving.
Welcome to New Zealand
Today we are going to the magical lands of Rotorua, a natural volcanic area full of colors, strong smells and amazing shapes and textures. The Wai-o-tapu thermal wonderland is a scenic reserve. It is located in the Taupo Volcanic Zone, and was formed approximately 160,000 years ago. The unique geothermal elements were sculpted by thousands of years of volcanic activity.
Even though we got a cloudy and for moments rainy day, the experience was amazing and we would totally recommend it! It is truly a wonderland <3

For early birds there is also a Geyser that erupts only in the morning... we where to late to see it.
