Visit to bahrain... Travel Diaries - 1

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Life is all about gaining good experiences like traveling, exploring, trying different foods ,diffrent cultures ..
when i stepped in my 20s i made a wishlist or u could say bucket list where i penned down what i wanted to do before i turn 30...
But.. bahrain was unexpected trip, i live in saudi arabia.. incase if u dont know what bahrain is its basically an island located between qatar and saudi arabia .. bahrain is a smallest country ,language spoken is arabic and its capital is manama city were we actually resided.

So now how we happen to go bahrain was unusual story ..
it was our muslim festival called eid and we wanted to take a small vacation and enjoy family time we thought we should go the near by small hillstation called “abha” .. its a small hillstation which is about 5-6 hrs drive from my place ... but then hubby said why not try something else .. lets go Malaysia? Or something different... coz we have already been abha before this one ... but then we realized that its just a night before eid and we need to have visas for bahrain and its highly impossible to travel by air with all that procedures , we cud get visa if we go by road but that would be a heck heck long trip and we would end up spending our eid in car 🤣..
so? The question arises ..
My charming husband promised me that night to take bahrain no matter what ... i was pretty sure we cant go but i had trust on his words and then finally we checked the details and we came to know that we can have an on arrival visas .. got more details and then packed up .. booked flight ...

We landed ... the climate was hotttt it was too humid but bahrain was more like dubai , if u have been dubai u knw the atmosphere...
we took rent a car and headed to our rotana downtown hotel..executive suite with a complete glass view from the 25 th floor 4FC4F0EB-DF0D-4340-85CA-6BD7C72F0F58.jpeg

One could barely see the glass wall it was like if we moved a little more forward we could fall off 🙈..
we ate mcdonalds and chilled/relaxed watched tv and closed all the lights and sat looking at the view of bahrain literally we could see the entire city!
later that 1A59C014-3BE8-41FE-AD22-4379C92FEFC8.jpegmorning we took a few notes abt what places to checkout in bahrain 🇧🇭 .. we went to the next stop that was picking up a few snacks to munch them all the way haha!
Then we went to this beautiful museum called bahrain museum it was the first museum i have seen and it was tooo big and really had unique stuffs in 184CFC55-ED8E-438E-8846-A2894D24D86F.jpegBF0D-053D-4D85-8444-FB0C84215CF6.jpeg]()4E80-0F2E-404B-814A-BEF21F4458CC.jpeg]()

The event was spent at the dragon city 60D14862-FD2B-47E4-87BC-7232352B3C39.jpegwhich was basically Chinese mall that had all chinese food, chinese clothing, chinese market basically in a mall !
Full of asians ! But it was good one ... all chinese goods were at pretty cheap prices , we happen to buy a car charger for my iphone since we were using alot of maps we wanted to 28AD2C23-E9C6-454E-BB76-C4BB83FE9794.jpeg avoid battery drainge ... we got that charger for cheap 😃👍🏻.
