This past Wednesday February 21, 2018 was my 28th birthday (unbirthday to be exact) I got to spend a couple days with my honey enjoy food and visit a couple interesting places. We ate at the famous Bubba Gump Shrimp to have a snack before entering the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The aquarium was beautiful! There were so many people of all ages that came from all around the world. They jellyfish we're my favorite. It's a must see in Monterey California.
We headed to the fisherman's wharf and ate fresh lobster and Calamari. We washed it down with a couple happy hour margaritas. It was Very tasty! After we checked into the Lovers Point Inn we climbed the rocks at the shore where we saw an otter chillin and puffed on a little Cali green! Being as cold as it was we headed back to our room for a night cap. The next day we had a delicious breakfast at The Breakfast Club in Seaside California. After breakfast we were on our way to the Spectacular Hearst Castle! The castle was so elegant. Designed by William Randolph Hearst and architect Julia Morgan. Fine ceramics art, silks, and original painting covered the was. Throughout the tour we learned about the Hearst family and history of the castle. The breathtaking view of moonstone beach was at every window on the west side of the castle. It was amazing. I highly recommend everyone in the world go see the historical California national monument. Here are a few pictures of our short trip! Thanks for reading!
