Pakistan has much to offer tourists; from hiking in vast mountain ranges to rafting down crystal clear waters. However, due to a number of factors, the tourism sector is largely neglected.
A group of #ActiveCitizens wanted to change this and have been implementing a project called "Exploring the Unexplored".
In partnership with local and national tourist boards, the group have organised trips to different destinations in the Northwest of Pakistan, for young people, at subsidised rates. The project has allowed youths to see a new part of the country and contributed to the tourism sector in the region by supporting the income of small scale businesses. Keep up the great work!
