Erg Chebbi - sandy countryside

in #travel4 years ago

Hi everyone,

During the trip to Morocco, our main goal was to visit the deserts. It was no coincidence that one of the most beautiful in the country - Erg Chebbi near Merzouga.

I guess every traveller's dream is to see the desert. I managed to make it come true by visiting a small village of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi - a sandy desert located in southeastern Morocco, belonging to the Sahara.

Erg Chebbi is a sandy dune, which can be as high as 150 meters, the dunes stretch for 20 kilometers. They look beautifully in the background of a small and still sprinkled with Saharan sand village Merzouga.

Probably the best possible attraction is to buy yourself a trip for about 100 euros. The price includes a camel ride and spending the night in the desert.

We do not recognize such attractions. We always take a tent with us on the trip. And this time, I have to tell you that it was one of the best nights of my life, except for the strong wind that blew all night. 🤣

The night in the Erg Chebbi Desert was wonderful and will remain in my memory forever.

All photos were taken by phone, sorry for a quality.
