What a cool thing to do and see and photograph. It's beautiful and unexpected. Of course the children love it.
Your post reminded me of Vivaldi's 4 seasons. So much so that I just put it on the music machine and am listening now. Took a bit to find it, it is the first piece of music that my computer or phone didn't play in at least one year. A CD. Remember those?? :)
