I took this photo in the valley of Jigokudani near a city called Yudanaka-Onsen in Nagano Prefecture. The lighting conditions were difficult, and poorly lit waves due to the water of volcanic source hot, which means that the shooting requires the use of a quick primer (135 mm F2,0) and a lot of post-treatment to increase the contrast and sharpness.

There are hundreds and thousands of temples in Japan - you can try to go to them all, hit the most popular (or "tourists"), or be a little more adventurous and visit some of the smaller sites less known. Daisho-in has proved to be one of my favorites - high on a hill on the island of Itsukushima (also known more popularly as Miyajima) and with very few tourists, we had almost entirely the temple of the temple. This has allowed us to wander as long as desired, without that many people put themselves on our path and to move closer to the more possible for thousands and thousands and thousands of statues and relics that cover the region. It was an excellent opportunity to practice shooting under different angles - lower bottom, pull from the top to the top, seek the reflections in ponds,

A lens with a 50 mm would be an excellent round lens to make. A large angle would also be an additional premium to capture the beauty of the landscapes and seascapes.
