Arriving in Hanoi, Vietnam for the first time was a veritable assault on almost every sense in my body but in the most incredible alive kind of way. In the middle of all the commotion, these crazy chaotic powerlines made a striking first impression I have never forgotten.
I love this photo - the weathered and worn french influenced architecture and the colours.
Can you spot the beautiful plant, that despite the odds has taken root in an old building facade and is flourishing in its impossible home, a few storeys above the street?
Until next time,
xx Isabella
I saw the same thing in several cities in China. The technology arrived so fast that they did not have time to plan.

Wow look at those big loops of wire. I guess here in Australia we have such a small population comparitively and our biggest hurdle with electricity is carrying wire across vast spaces. Cool pic - thanks for sharing.
That plant certainly found a new home loool...and yeah loads of over head cables...and also a very nice picture :0)
We have lots of that powerlines here in the Philippines :)
beautiful picture!
those wires are really something...amazing that the whole thing hasn't caught on fire!
