The City of Staropramen >^^<

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Hi there! All travellers and trip lovers.
I am excited to tell you about my first visit in Prague. A city who was one of my favourite even before I saw it. :D

First thing I saw was the The Dancing House.
The building was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996. The “dancing” shape is supported by 99 concrete panels, each a different shape and dimension. On the top of the building is a large twisted structure of metal nicknamed Medusa.

I arrived in the evening and the river Vltava who is crossing the city is as beautiful in the night as in the day. With many bridges has a nice view from above.

The food is ok and very well cooked but you need to ask for english menus otherwise you don't know what you receive. :)) The local cidre apple has a very powerful taste, very acid but goood...

The Old Town has a very special story. I walked alot trough the streets, bought souvenirs, drinking beers and watched street artists.

From the Old town after you cross the Charlie Bridge you go to the new city as magical as the old town. :X
