Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday.
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of South America.

Playa El Agua is one of the most famous beaches on the Isla de Margarita (Venezuela). It has strong waves and is surrounded by palm trees. Upon arrival you can walk along the boulevard and take beautiful photos and then enjoy the sea.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 A.M. Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words.
Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge.
Best 10 entries will receive a 10% upvote and other valid entries will get a 5% upvote from me. Out of those best 10 entries, one winner and one runner-up will be picked. Their entries will be shared on Appics in separate posts and they will receive my upvotes on their posts as the reward. The winner will get my 100% upvote and the runner-up will get my 50% upvote on Hive and on Appics too if their posts were posted through Appics.

The Soldier, one of many Botero´s iconic sculptures found in Medellin, Colombia. Born in Medellin in 1932, Fernando Botero is one of the most recognized artists of Colombia as well as all Latin America. He is known for a very specific artistic style (sometimes referred to as "Boterism") that is characterized by enormously large figures of people and animals with exaggerated or even distorted body proportions.
Today I show you one of the most fabulous places in my country, it is without a doubt, the Canaima National Park and its surroundings, you can see the beautiful and different waterfalls as the highest in the world "The Angel Falls", "Ax ", Wadaima, Golondrina and Ucaima and many more, as well as the different and legendary tepuis.
Did you ever think that clouds can be the same colour as road? Me neither...
This photo is from South America where you have to drive across this salt flat if you want to experience its gems.
PAMPATAR BAY
This beach is located in the city of Pampatar, Margarita Island. It has an extension of approximately 1 km. It has white sands and crystal clear waters. Many coconut trees can be seen in this bay. On this day I had an activity on the beach with my friends and since it was very early and the beach was alone, take advantage of capturing this beautiful image.
Bolivia's Isla del Sol is the jewel of Lake Titicaca. There are over 80 ruins scattered on the island. Most of them dating back to the 15th century AD but some evidence shows that people lived on the island as far back as the third millennium BC.
The Brazilian northeast has amazing landscapes, one of them is the Canoa Quebrada beach, with reddish rocks that surround it and an excellent environment to enjoy.
Wild Horse
By the shore on the Camaquá river, the group prepared a barbecue after a day of fishing. Heads down looking at the preparation and others sipping some beer. The wind was northwesterly, from where the sound of heavy steps reached our ears. Upon turning our heads, there it was ― the wild horse galloping away to the bushes after refreshing on the river waters.
Spend an afternoon of relaxation and contemplation admiring the beautiful sunset, which gives the observer its beautiful golden color, and in the company of some friends who did not waste the moment to delight in this beauty. I took this photo during my visit to Cumaná, capital of the Sucre State. Venezuela.
Sunset at El Morro. Dairy. Venezuela, this place where I take this photo I love, it has something particular that in the other places where I have taken photos of the sunset. I look at this photo and still feel immense calm and inner peace.
