Mérida-Venezuela. Beautiful landscape in the botanical garden, in the city of Merida. Venezuela. A charming place to experiment with nature and breathe fresh air, beneficial for our body, also to recharge with very important positive energies for our being.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 A.M. Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words.
Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge.
Best 10 entries will receive a 10% upvote and other valid entries will get a 5% upvote from me. Out of those best 10 entries, one winner and one runner-up will be picked. Their entries will be shared on Appics in separate posts and they will receive my upvotes on their posts as the reward. Today I bring you this image of the coconut beach on the island of Coche (Venezuela), I took it with the camera of my old phone when we spent a few days on vacation and forgot to take my professional photographic camera, it is an island of fishermen in which tourism is still in its infancy. It is a solitary beach for its difficult access and lack of roads, ideal to avoid crowds.
In the distance, the spectacular "El Chimborazo" volcano appears and we admire it, it is the highest volcano and mountain in Ecuador, located in the province of Riobamba. It is one of the best known tourist places in the area, it is ideal for mountaineering lovers and for amateur and professional photographers who want to take one of the most beautiful volcanoes on the American continent.
Do you see all these pink spots in the lagoon? I am sure you already know what that is. Flamingos...
With these birds travel across South America is even more interesting. There is really a lot of them and as they are so nice, I would take one home :)
Mifafi, paradise of the condors in the city of Merida. Venezuela. Here is a condor in captivity, I hope you can appreciate the condor that is near this great rock. It is a bird in extinction period. Given this situation, several institutions have developed recovery programs to bring condors to repopulate the Andean mountain range.
On Monday, while waiting in line to fill up my gasoline car, at a service station in a sector located between the city of Puerto la Cruz and the city of Barcelona, in Venezuela, although I had to wait long hours to fill up the gas tank, I preferred to take photos of something interesting of the place and I took the opportunity to capture these beautiful flowers, which contrast with the buildings of the place.
Another great landscape from the Uyuni desert, Bolivia. I loved that place and would go back anytime. That place was so peaceful, we were the only ones there and it was just a perfect timing to embrace the scenery.
Pelicans abound on the beautiful beach, since in this place they are one of the points where many fishermen from the island of margarita leave and return, when they arrive at the shore many pelicans approach the place; he expected some food.
