Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #25 – winner announcement!

@photofreediver Asian Sunday entry:

When I participated in an expedition on on the island of Sakhalin, the bay "Silent" which is in 150 kilometers to the north of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk became one of points of our travel. It has appeared the amazing place with the mountains, improbable on beauty, entirely covered with the juicy-green woods and the tender ocean washing the sandy coast. Absolute paradise for fans of quiet rest with tents, for fishermen and of course for photographers!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #25 – winner announcement!

@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:

So here is another entry from beautiful Australia again. This one is a view I found near Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. There are many viewpoints in the area, the most popular being the Three Sisters view. But if you wander along the extensive network of trails along the rim you can also find beautiful views like this, which you will have for yourself.

I just got back from 5 days in Sayulita, Mexico to celebrate a friend's birthday. It really was a wonderful time with old friends and meeting new ones. On the last morning of the trip Sunday, I finally managed to wake up early enough to walk down to the dock by the ocean and take sunrise photos of the Pacific Ocean. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the trip!

Beautiful light in this mate.

Excellent shot Matt!

I found this hidden beach near Praia do Amado, Algarve, Portugal. I was there in the middle of the day scouting the location, and as it was during high tide, I didn't expect anything special and got back at sunset just in case. The view I saw was absolutely different. The tide was low, and there were lots of tidal pools reflecting the sunset sky. And this one with the boulder in the middle was the biggest, and it has the most beautiful reflection.

Absolutely stunning!

It is rare to find such stillness out on the water. No wind, no waves, no sound. So still I could set my tripod up on the deck of S/V BOB while at anchor and take a long exposure of the sky with no visible star movement. Amazingly the G3 (KP7) solar storm was bright enough to cut though the endless blue twilight one experiences during the few fleeting hours of semi darkness that you have when you’re up sailing in Alaska in the Summer. Scenery Cove, South East Alaska, USA.

Thanks ever so much for this wonderful entry! Greatly appreciated. Tomas

I clicked this shot on the coast of Chile, north of Antofagasta. Here you see La Portada, a natural arch in the distance(43m high, 23m wide, and 70m long), standing in the vast Pacific Ocean, and surrounded by coastal cliffs that were also formed by marine erosion.

Nice scene of cliff and ocean. Hard to imagine height of waves, but it should be really big, no?

Yes pretty crazy waves! 🌊

Wonderful as always!

Thanks Tomas!

Beautiful sunset at Curonian Spit, Lithuania. Stunning colors and a touch of long exposure for additional dynamics. Ultra wide lens to get most of the view

Enjoy it!

The northern shores of Scottish Highlands - High cliffs and raging, cold waters below. Many lighthouses are adding great atmosphere to the scenery, especially after sunset... - here, typical "blue hour" time.

Amazing shot. Love the view!

Thanks a lot!!

Absolutely fantastic! Thanks ever so much for your contribution!

My pleasure :). Have a good day!

Moonlit Praia da Marinha
This stunning beach with 30m high cliffs is located at the Algarve in the south of Portugal. The photo was taken at night with only the moon as light source...

Absolutely gorgeous!

It was an amazing meeting in the Andaman Sea. Our group dived first and we were lucky to see one manta ray. But the current in that place was so strong that we spent all the air for about 20 minutes. As a result, we came to the surface at the same time when the second group just descended. And we managed to quickly change the tanks and dive a second time. The second dive was long and calm. This lasted about an hour. And at the very end, when we were about to emerge, I saw two manta rays in the depths.
All I needed was for a quick dive and only 3 photos. Then I had to come up. It's amazing that no one else saw these manta rays. As if I imagined them)

Wow! Just stunning!

Sunrise from Phillipines and Panglao island. The Philippines, an island nation with over 7,000 islands, has a lot of boats. one of the most common boats is the banka (sometimes bangka, banca or pump-boat), a large canoe with outriggers for stability. The ubiquitous banka is used as a ferry, for fishing and leisure.

Thanks ever so much for your entry! Brilliant image!

A gull soaks in the sun rays by the iconic rock at Cape Kiwanda, Oregon, on the Pacific Ocean. I spent a day here exploring around the dunes and the rocks looking for compositions, but at the end of the day this simple shot was the best.

Cape Kiwanda

Today´s entries are just insane and this for sure is one of them!

Well thank you! :D

Located on the coast of a neighborhood which shares its name, La Barceloneta Beach is Barcelona’s most popular beach. The unusual building in the background is W-Barcelona, popularly known as the Hotel Vela (Sail Hotel) due to its shape. I took this shot in early April, hence the leck of people on the beach. If you come here anywhere between June and September, you will find thousands of people here.

By the rocky shoreline of the Central Coast, rock fishing is a common activity. Although there had been quite a few causalities due to big waves sweeping people into the sea, it is still a favourite sport for many Australians. I guess the combination of possible danger and the anticipation of a big catch really gets your heart pumping and adrenaline rushing!

This nice photo of the Pacific Ocean was taken from Honolulu Island, Hawaii. A place with very varied and extensive vegetation with a very blue oceanic sea. Its views are fabulous, with spectacular sea breeze currents.

This is a photo I took from the famous surfing competition on the north shore of Oahu called Pipemasters. These waves had a 10 to 12 foot face and by Hawaiian measurements were anywhere from 4 to 6 foot. (They measure from the back of the wave) This surfing competition is one of the best on the island and is always held in the beginning of December and attracts some of the worlds best surfers.

This picture was taken on Big Pine Key in the Florida Keys during my girlfriend's work and travel exchange program. I like the tranquil atmosphere at the end of a hot day and the understated, slumbering beauty of the surroundings.

This is a view of Halong Bay, taken from Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. We rode our motorbikes to the north of the island and climbed a karst mountain to get this amazing view of the Gulf of Tonkin.

Great view from up there! I was there too but didn’t know this vantage point. :)

Thanks. It's not an official viewpoint, we just climbed up one of the mountains, there was no path.

My entry:

This green turtle comes from Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, an extraordinary place for diving. An almost perfect face to face that I had the chance to immortalize by this photo.

Incredible colours for this icelandic seascape, right at the bottom of Snæfellsjökull volcano where the beach are made of black rocks giving this amazing contrast if colours.
An apocalyptic place shining of vivid colours where you can appreciate a peaceful time.

Location: Iceland.

My Entry ~ Antarctica.
A photo of Cieva Cove on the Antarctic Peninsula in the morning as the expedition ship I was working on was arriving for our morning zodiac excursion. Cieva cove is a beautiful little cove with a huge glacier at the end known as Gregory Glacier, as well an Argentine research base is at the entrance of the cove called, Primavera station - translate to 'first spring'

Took this while relaxing in the cool breeze at Kanyakumari Beach, Tamil Nadu. The view is of the soothing waters of the Indian ocean. My only regret is that I forgot to take my camera so had to click this from my smartphone.

Great travel photos!

Cox’s Bazar is a coastal town in Bangladesh where you’ll find the world’s longest natural beach with 125 continuous kilometres of sandy shore overlooking the darling Bay of Bengal. With so much beach space, it’s only natural people come to Cox’s Bazar to relax among the range of five-star hotels and chic cafes.10750039_651685288273764_5146333191371843039_o.jpg

Learning to scuba dive can be a daunting experience, made infinitely more stressful when you are "learning by doing". Chiefly, being thrown into the water with the expectation of "picking it up as you go along". This was my experience of learning to dive in Cuba (well, I did have a twenty minute paddle in the swimming pool but that was it!)

Nevertheless, even my first experience was worth the uncertainty as I discovered this small sea snail feasting on some intricate blue-coloured coral. It looks like a large pearl with leopard-print spots. Sadly, this species, once common, is under threat as it is collected by snorkelers and divers without realising that it is a live animal.
