We stayed in Maui for just over a week. There is so much to do and it is a beautiful island. Busy yet also quiet. Our favourite expedition was the Road to Hana. A road trip with stunning stops. Waterfalls, hikes, views, local food, and beaches. What more can you ask for? We started the day early 7.30am and hit the road. I suggest working your way from Hana and backwards. This is because the first few stops are always busy with other people starting the day. The end is quieter as most people are not there yet. It's a 2 hr straight drive but due to so many stopping points you need the whole day. We hired a Jeep, highly recommended due to the roads and just because it is so fun in one! We saw a black sand beach, hiked an hour via a bamboo forest to view Maui's highest waterfall, and met some amazing locals. I will post in detail some of the best spots soon
