It took me a few years to take David seriously, back when I was not a big fan I was very close minded. The more I see of him the more I respect him. The thing that I find so admirabe is the way he handles the press.
They are trying to make hime seem barking mad at every oppertunity and he handles it so well, to the point they loose control of their emotions and show that they are more mentally unstable.
Really love to see his popularity grow, he has done a LOT of good work and it's great to see that pay off for him and his fans :-)
