i know it is a very big title but it was also a big travel root . that,s why it took us 12 hours to reach our destination . and seen some extra ordinary paces.
The history of the Sibi region dates back to the 7th century at the earliest, when it was ruled by the Sewa dynasty.[4] In the early 13th century, Sibi was a dependency of Multan under Nasiruddin Qabacha of the Ghurid Empire. The area was then variously subject to Multan or Sindh throughout much of its history. The Arghun dynasty of Kandahar invaded in the late 15th century and seized Sibi from the Samma dynasty of Sindh, but it was returned to Sindh during the Mughal period. Sibi was governed by the Kalhora dynasty during the early 18th century, which in turn paid tribute to the Afsharids after Nader Shah's invasion in 1737. In 1747, the Durrani Empire assumed control of Sibi and appointed local administrators from the Barozai clan.
Post-Independence Period:
Besides the town of Sibi, the district once included the hill station of Ziarat, the summer residence of the government and The Victoria Memorial Hall, now known as Jirga Hall, which was built in 1903.
Demographics
Main ethnic groups of the area are: Baloch, Jamots and Pashtoons.Sindhi people living in Baluchistan are called Jamot.
Baloch tribes including: Domki,Marri,Gola,Chandio, Gishkori,Gorgage,Rind and Ghulam Bolak.Mandwani.
Major tribes of Pashtoon residing in the area are Khajjak, Marghzani,Silachi,Saafi,Mizri,Dehpal,Barozai and Luni.
Major Jamot(sindhi) tribes include: Soomro,Abro,Dayo,Mangrio,Mahar and Solangi.
Major Punjabi Clans Include:Bhatti Rajput,Rana Rajput,Arain,Malik,Butt,Choudary,Khokhar and Mughal.
Major Brahvi tribes Include:Raisani,Bangulzai,GohramZai,MohummadShahi and Lehri.
Major UrduSpeaking Surnames May include: Quraishi,Sheikh,Siddiqui,Abbasi,Ansari and YousafZai.
Siraiki's Include Jamali,Machi,Hanbhi and Langah but almost all of them are ethnically diversed.
Minorities Include Hindus and Christians who live there peacefully and with harmony among all of them. Small group of Nomadic people also live there mainly in the huts on western corner of the city such as Lachi and Bhagri people with their on Indigenous beliefs and rituals

In the 15th century, Mir Chakar Khan Rind became the first Sirdar of Afghan and Pakistani Balochistan, he was a close aide of the Timurid ruler Humayun, and was succeeded by the Khanate of Kalat, which owed allegiance to the Mughal Empire, and later Nader Shah won the allegiance of the rulers of eastern Balochistan, he ceded Kalhora, one of the Sindh territories of Sibi-Kachi to the Khanate of Kalat. Ahmad Shah Durrani, founder of the Afghan Empire, also won the allegiance of that area's rulers. Most of the area would eventually revert to local Baloch control – after Afghan rule, many Baloch fought during the Third Battle of Panipat.
The word Dera means abode or settlement in Brohi, Urdu, Balochi, Sindhi, Saraiki and many other languages. Dera Murad Jamali thus means the settlement or city of Murad Jamali. Many city names in Pakistan have Dera as a prefix, for example Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Dera Allah Yar. The city is named after the assassinated Pakistani leader Mir Murad Jamali.
Balochistan is situated in the southwest of Pakistan and covers an area of 347,190 square kilometres (134,050 sq mi). It is Pakistan's largest province by area, constituting 44% of Pakistan's total land mass. The province is bordered by Afghanistan to the north and north-west, Iran to the south-west, Punjab and Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas to the north-east. To the south lies the Arabian Sea. Balochistan is located on the south-eastern part of the Iranian plateau. It borders the geopolitical regions of the Middle East and Southwest Asia, Central Asia and South Asia. Balochistan lies at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz and provides the shortest route from seaports to Central Asia. Its geographical location has placed the otherwise desolate region in the scope of competing global interests for all of recorded history.
The capital city Quetta is located in a densely populated portion of the Sulaiman Mountains in the north-east of the province. It is situated in a river valley near the Bolan Pass, which has been used as the route of choice from the coast to Central Asia, entering through Afghanistan's Kandahar region. The British and other historic empires have crossed the region to invade Afghanistan by this route.
Mir Muhammad Murad Jamali was one of the leading political personalities of the Pakistan Muslim League and was a close ally of Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the independence of Pakistan and the welfare of Balochistan province. Mir Murad was murdered[when?] by unidentified men while leaving a mosque in Quetta after Friday prayers. The news of the murder led to strikes in Sindh and Balochistan.
