The Blackforest in the south of Germany may not be as spectacular as the Andes or the Alps, but especially at winter after fresh snowfall when all the trees are heavily covered and the sun comes out it is a stunning place!
It feels like in a dream world when you wander through these magical landscape...

I took these images at the top of the mountain Kandel near Freiburg. It has an altitude of 1241m and offers lots of hiking, climbing and skiing opportunities.
