One of my biggest dreams was to go to New York and I made it real that last year, it was the shortest travel I’ve made but the best one too.
This trip has a very important meaning in my life, because i was going to do it with the love of my life and a year ago she was shot.
For us this travel was on the top of our bucket list and when you got a second chance like that you have to take it right away.
We went to New York on saturday and we have the return on tuesday but we really made each day an adventure and we were able to go through everything we wanted.
We stayed in Pennsylvania Hotel in front of Madison Square Garden, the location of this hotel help us a lot because we had everything close to us and we could walk anywhere.
Times Square was only ten minutes away walking and there we bought the New York Pass which is like a credit car that you can use to pay some places, for example: Empire State Building, Big One Bus, One World Observatory, New York Yankees Stadium and another places.
The first day we went to Broadway and saw the play “Phantom of the Opera”, i’ve never been in a theather like that and I loved, webought the tickets in the gate and we had a discount with a good location seats.
The second day we took the Big One Bus and went to Empire State Building, it had a beautiful architecture and amazing views.
After that we went to Battery Park where we took a ferry to saw the statue of liberty and Ellis Island but we didn’t get off and we returned to Battery Park where we walked to Wall Street and we took a picture with the famous bull.
Also, I had prepare our third day with
Surprises for my girlfriend but not everything result as I planned.
First we went to New York Yankees Stadium the most beautiful Stadium I’ve ever been after that we went to Central Park, there was full of people because of eclipse, a lot of people with glasses and things to could see the sky.
We were walking through Central Park and we saw Brian Smith (Will on Sense 8) we ran after him to take a picture with him and this is the result.
Later we had a reservation to took a helicopter (NyOn) but the place was a little far away we had to got the subway, the train and a bus but we never got there on time so we had to return to the hotel a little bit sad.
In the hotel we talked about and we left the hotel at night to go to one world observatory where I propuse to my girlfriend with the best view.
She said: Yes! And that’s why my shortest trip was the best engaged trip!
Uno se mis mayores sueños era ir a New York y lo hice posible el año pasado es uno de los viajes mas cortos que he hecho y a la vez uno de los mejores.
Para mi este viaje tenia un significado especial ya que iba a hacerlo con el amor de mi vida, quien recibió un dispararon en Diciembre de ese año.
Para nosotras este viaje esta en uno de los primeros puestos de nuestra lista de cosas por hacer y cuando tienes una segunda oportunidad así tienes que tomarla de la mejor forma.
Llegamos a new york un sabado y nos regresabamos el martes, pero nosotras hicimos de cada día una aventura y pudimos recorrer todo lo que quisimos.
Nosotras nos quedamos en el hotel Pennsylvania en frente de el Madison Square Garden, esto nos ayudo ya que teníamos todo cerca.
El Times Square quedaba a unos 10 minutos caminando ahí compramos el New York Pass, es como una tarjeta de crédito para entrar a varios sitios de interés.
El primer día fuimos a Broadway y vimos la obra “El fantasma de la Opera” , nunca había ido a un teatro así y lo ame, compramos las entradas en la puerta y tuvimos un descuento y unos muy buenos puestos.
El segundo día nos montamos en bus turistico que nos llevaba a varios lugares, uno fue el empire state que tiene una hermosa arquitectura y una increíble vista.
Luego fuimos a Battery Park donde tomamos el ferry para la estatua de la libertad y Ellis Island, luego regresamos y caminamos hasta Wall Street y nos totamos una foto con el toro mas famoso.
Había preparado todo para el tercer dia con muchas sorpresas para mi novia pero nada salio como lo planeado.
Primero fuimos al New York Yankees Stadium el estadio mas bello que he conocido, luego fuimos al central park que estaba full de gente por el eclipse, mientras caminabamos por el central park vimos a Brian Smith (Will de Sense 8) corríamos tras de el y nos tomamos una foto con el.
Luego íbamos a tomar un tour en helicóptero que era un poco distante de donde estábamos teniamos que tomar metro, tren y bus pero nunca llegamos a tiempo asi que nos regresamos al hotel un poco tristes.
Mas tarde hablamos al respecto y volvimos a salir a one world observatory donde le pedí que fuera mi esposa.
Ella dijo que si y así fue como el viaje mas rapido fue el mejor viaje de compromiso!
