Great read. I think it depends of the situation. I have done both. When traveling with someone there are compromises that must be made. You may not be able to do everything you wanted to. OR it may be even better than you anticipated. Also does your personality compliment your traveling partner(s). Not all chemical or people blend. In my recent trip to Okoboji It was a trade off.
