As I said I am from Costa Rica, here we have oceans on either side of the sun ... it goes out through the Caribbean and is hidden by the Pacific, both beautiful and magical coasts, with their people, their meals and their own flavor! Como les decía soy de Costa Rica, aquí tenemos océanos a cada lado del sol… sale por el Caribe y se oculta por el Pacífico, ambas costas hermosas y mágicas, con su gente, sus comidas y sabor propio! Pero en el trajín del día a día uno se enreda todo dejando esas cosas para después que nunca llegan, ¿no les ha pasado?

Returning to my beloved country, yesterday was a great day here, was when we celebrate our independence! Together with our Central American brothers and Mexico, which was the main place, the capital, where the act was signed ... and we ... the last province! Volviendo a mi querido país, ayer fue un gran día aquí, era cuando celebramos nuestra independencia! Junto a nuestros hermanos centroamericanos y México, que era el lugar principal, la capital, donde se firmó el acta… y nosotros… la última provincia! En aquel entonces, que se viaja a caballo y con caminos de tierra, el acta nos llegó para el 29 de octubre, ¿se imaginan? Más de un mes para saber que ya éramos independientes!!!
Ahora nos reímos, y deberíamos volver a festejar la independencia ese día, pero así eran las cosas… y así somos los ticos, encontramos cualquier excusa para celebrar!
