Not all the banks on the Sukhona River are steep, rocky and puffy. In general, they are more flat with a small cliff to 5-10 meters.
This place is in the area of the village of Kichuga in the Veliky Ustyug district. I can not know why the boat is here, because there is not a single residential village on the other side of the river. It is possible that it carries workers to logging, which is beyond the river.
There is still a lot of water in the river and do not take a stroll along the shore, as there is solid clay.
Or lies the ice on the shore left after the ice drift.
The ice floes lie densely to the shore, where after them a high depth begins at once.
But an excellent place for a walk is in the woods near the shore. An even path among the pines and birches goes far along the river. In some places there are tables and fireplaces.
And the view is excellent! It is a pity that it is far from the city - it would be a great place for walks and dates!
But on the other hand it's good that the place is remote, otherwise it would be litter quickly...
