Lodeika is a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region, the administrative center of the Nizhneerogodsky rural settlement. The distance to the district center Veliky Ustyug by road is 39 km. The road from the city first goes asphalted, and the remaining approximately 15 km - in gravel-dirt execution.
In Lodeyka in winter there is a road to such monuments of nature as Cape Bull, a flowing fountain, the Opoki, and also a road to the village of Lomovatka.

Lodeyka - this is the most common village in the outback of Russia.

Only people are unusual in it, and especially Valentin Nikolayevich Yerofeyev is an entrepreneur who lives most of his life in this place.

Valentin Nikolayevich is currently engaged in logging. All roads in the area of his settlement, he contains almost at his own expense.

Thanks to this man in the forest you will not get lost!

No one during logging leaves as many seed trees as he.

It is already possible to observe young trees in clearings.

Abandoned village Chermyanino. Now through it you can go to the Sukhonsky tract.

Until recently, these places were considered one of the most deaf, and now there is a ice-ferry across the Sukhona River.

Local fishermen are waiting for their catch.

It is a pity that the village is no longer able to revive.

Once there were wealthy farms.

And now, from some villages, even a trace is left.

If it were not for Valentin Nikolayevich, then this land would have been uninhabited long ago.

From the high bank of Sukhona, the village of Porog is visible.

And further on, the village of Poldarsa is visible.

In summer, these places are available to anyone.

Fountain spring is the most popular vacation spot in winter and summer time among locals and not only.

This year, the ice has not yet had time to freeze and turn into a giant block.

On the walls of gazebos it is customary to leave the name of your settlement.

How many people used to live on the banks of the Sukhona River! And how many villages disappeared from the face of the earth! Now Mother Earth takes back what it once provided for the use of people.

Village Red Hill through which you can go down to the fountain. The house in which the monks lived, survived the most.

Old aspens.

Village Berezovo. Nearby is a natural monument of Cape Bull.

The village stands on the very bank of the Sukhona River, and during floods, water can reach the houses.

So, thanks to an entrepreneur who loves his land and does everything for him free of charge, so that other people feel good, Lodeika village and some other villages live.

And also good transport accessibility to all neighboring settlements and tourist facilities is organized.
